I know, that made me concerned. It looked, smelled and tasted fine so far. My fermentation temp was on the high side of the range but not too hot.
I'll check it Tuesday and see if there's a change. A hydrometer check is in order too. It is the same one I took OG with though.
I'd like to trade my clean, delabled bottles 2-1 for your smokestack 12 oz bottles. I don't care if they have the labels removed or not.
I'd prefer a local trade (anywhere in the St. Louis area) but if you have enough I'd drive a little.
I'm seven days in on my first batch. The OG was 1.044 and I had a SG of 1.004 today. I'm not sure why it was so low, my mash temp. was right on. At least it tasted pretty good for this point in the process. Looks like I'll end up around 5.25%, not too bad.

I just bottled my first brew of this. I messed up my volume and got an OG of 1.060 with a FG of 1.006. It tastes pretty good warm, green, and flat. I'm really looking forward to the finished product.

Getting an early brew in this morning. We finally got a break from the rain here.
Going to my grandparents this afternoon to help clean out their attic. The first sunny day in a while and I could use some clouds.
Just finished up this stand. I'm putting everything together tonight and brewing tomorrow. I really wanted to make this fancy but simple and quick will have to do for now. Not too bad for $8 I guess.
