Brewing it now, with a 50/50 mix of 2-row and MO.. i'll report in another 1.5 months with tasting results but all is going well.. Here's some pics so far.

Just a quick question, I've never used rice hulls for the mash before but tomorrow I will be due to the amount of pumpkin puree i'm adding in. Does anybody know how much water per pound of rice hulls i'm going to loose from the hulls absorbing water? Thanks!

Think i'll try a 50/50 mix this weekend @154 I don't want to go too high on the MO, as i don't want the taste to focus on the malts instead of the spices. But i'm hoping the nutty/biscuit taste will compliment this recipe. But i'm hoping that those whom have brewed with MO can chime in on...

Has anybody tried a 50/50 mix of Maris Otter and 2-Row? And how do you think the taste would differ from mashing at 154 (medium body) vs 156 (full body)?

Add myself to the list also.. Just checked my account and I have 10 unauthorized charges each for 7.95. Doing a little digging it looks like somebody is using my card for Runescape. I've never had fraudulent charges before and they appear to have started on the 11th of this month.

I use a spreadsheet also.. not as indepth as everose's but helps keep track of the stages, and by using conditional formatting i know at a glance when an activity is coming up. I'll also occasionally use the calendar option in beersmith.

My Cicada IPA, 6.5% ABV. Smooth and well balanced IPA that's not overly bittering or a hop bomb (Simcoe Hops). It's just smooth and delicious!
