Need help adding wine to beer

yeast and gallons? those are really required to give anything close to an estimate. if Conan? figuring a 1.009 you should be at 8.14% if 5 gallons, which with a NEIPA, your trub is going to bring it down, or it'll be a 5.5-6 gallon batch. but 5 gallon ball park, 8.25% total

    Dry Hopped with Hop Hash

it would be wasted in the boil in my opinion. yes, i have used hop hash, and love it. (I use crystal hop hash). It'll be fine. Mine was never really clumpy tho. I used the same ratio as you, 1 oz per 5 gallons. the flavor came through great. The next thing I used was Lupallin (citra) and...

Hop Heads, How Much is Too Much?

I don't care about ibu's, unless I am making a low ABV Pale ale. I brew with a good healthy malt backbone, and can support a High IBU hi hop bursted ipa (dipa) and still have that balance with a clear malty backbone. Go big and go big late. Use oil for your 60 minute IBU's, 1 ML = 10 IBU...

it'll clear to a point as things settle out. you notice the change of flavor yet as things settle (not caused by oxygen) a month! how bad is it that it has lasted a month? send me a bottle to evaluate!! (jk)

Drilling in Kettle and Rust Worries

you need to go low and slow, use vegetable oil, and clearly clean up afterword. Blichman or megapot, i would use a 3/4 punch kit. They sell them at harbor freight, about 24 dollars, and they will do a few holes, but you will also need a unibit and punch to use it since you have to drill a...

I brewed a delicious SMaSH. What should I try next?

well, first off, making your own beer you should not worry about what catagory it falls under, but typically no more than 5 - 10% is normal for an ipa. If your Backbone was good, I would do it all over again adding in another hop. then add some crystal, some Corn sugar, some flaked oats...

Got Ahead Of Myself With Corny Kegs

that's a really nice boat. you should have room for a smaller freezer, and it should have a generator, worse case run it on shore power and dry ice it when not on shore. i'm into boats, but being on a smaller lake, have to stick with much smaller boats (think hydrostreams, etc)

Got Ahead Of Myself With Corny Kegs

a 20oz paintball tank should be able to push those three kegs. (not carbonate them, but push them out) easily, because finding fill stations in the Bahamas may be difficult. (They do have welding supply stores). if you can still get the fridge, just do picnic taps. or a jockey box if not. a...

    DIY Beer Line Cleaner

I run two taps, 6 ft lines. last weekend I cleaned them, just cycled hot pbw using my wort pump (and my brew kettle as the source, so I could connect it with the valve. in one intertap with growler fitting, then ran a splicer for the liquid lines, tied them together, then out the other tap...
