Has anyone tried to make Vegemite out of your trub?

Good show man. It doesn't look easy but I might try it just for the fun of it. I should probably make a tasting video to record for the ages. I'll report back.

Has anyone tried to make Vegemite out of your trub?

^^Me too. I've never tried it but it's intriguing enough that I might just attempt it. It's hard to find a recipe but apparently you simmer the yeast extract with celery, onions, and carrots.

Has anyone tried to make Vegemite out of your trub?

I like this time at night on HBT

I've got three gallons of Yooper's hard lemonade and five gallons of an experimental carrot beer I brewed last week when I couldn't afford malt. Just moved the two carboys into my new apartment, it feels nice to finally have room for all my brewing gear!

    Hopping Cider

I've got a graff in primary that I lightly hopped with Liberty (1/2oz @ 60, 1/2oz @ 10). I'm going to bottle tonight or tomorrow, I'll report back on taste then.

    Newbies first cider

If I'm understanding you correctly, you added sugar before fermentation but not after fermentation before bottling? During fermentation the yeast are going to convert all the sugars into alcohol/ co2. Priming sugar goes into the cider after fermentation to give the yeast something to convert to...
