Found a lid for the mash tun. Here is the turkey fryer burner modifed to hold a keg. Just some scraps of stainless bent and bolted to the side. Nice and snug fit. I didnt actually do the bending of the stainless. My dad did that part for me since he has access to some pretty cool...

The dip tube i got from bargain fittings was too short some how. But i may have ordered the wrong thing. Unfortunatly i would just be getting rid of the fb.

One of the members on the forum had an extra sheet floating around. I paid 40 shipped. Stuff is really hard to find. All the local places here want $200 for a 20" square. I do have an extra 15" circle if you are interested.

Probably not too hard at all. You already have a hole in the dead center you can use as your guide for a jig.

Bought this chiller from Steinfillers in Long Beach CA. Cost me $80. Looking to get rid of it for $40. Local pickup would be great, but i can ship on the buyers dime. $40 OBO Next is a false bottom that i cut out of some 16 gauge perforated stainless steel. Its about 15.25" in diameter...

All done! Here are the pics. I actually had enough steel to make two false bottoms. The one you see In my keg is the second one that i cut.

I am plannimg on buffing them out for sure! And for the false bottom i just use the dip tube to lift it out.
