Love this beer. A few tweaks to the recipe, but delicious during the summer nonetheless.

The ups: it hides the cylinder and regulator from view The downs: I used to keep mine in my keezer but the low temps drops the partial pressure of the CO2. On the regulator it appears as though the tank is empty. When the tank is room temp I can better keep track of how much gas is left.

I wanted to do this last year as well. Put me down for the gruit. Recipe (found on last years thread) looks amazing. I'll make it next month to give it plenty of time to condition, but I'll have to ship the beer out earlier than turkey day.

For me it's always been Flying Dog's Raging Bitch. God that's a great beer. It's usually on tap at my local hangout and I always have one too many. When DFH 90 min is on tap, that's a bad one for me too. I made a clone of that one and bottled it in 22 oz bombers. That was dumb.

Yeah, I vote for leaving it on the yeast. It will make a cleaner beer.

Ok, so head cold is better. Tried this beer again. I'm really happy. Crystal clear. Smooth. Just the right amount of hoppiness (for my taste--I substituted brewers gold because for some reason my lhbs cascade kinda sucked). Great beer. Thanks so much!

Fame has it's rewards, but we'll see where she is in 5 years. My guess... just a faint memory in the fickle realm of American fads.
