    Awesome idea! Bread yeast seems much cheaper than yeast nutrient.... Maybe I'll just do that. Also will champagne yeast be fine with this, or would it be beneficial to get something better.

    okay I will pasteurize the same day then. I have a spray bottle for that purpose. I was just afraid I might not spray it well enough and miss contact on some parts. I think I will buy one of those vinators for next time, but I need a temp solution before then. Thanks for your help.

    So sorry to waste your time guys :(. I was just thinking about it, and it was 1.000 plus 3 ticks so about 1.007 I think, not 1.030. So I actually overshot it. I guess I will have a higher alcohal content now... Do you think it will be okay? Should I sweeten it more because of this? Thanks.
