    The Burning/er Question?

I have a simple jet burner that I use to boil seafood in a 20 gallon pot. I use it with my keggles and haven't burnt anything yet.

What's going on - low gravity?

It really sounds like a combination of things went in to your poor performance. If I were you I'd go over a decent book or website and just try again. I know you've probably already did that but when you're in the middle of the process it's hard to self-evaluate on what you might be doing...

    Brown Sugar for priming?

It sounds like you already have a lot going on with the cherry and cocoa so I wouldn't think brown sugar would make a huge impact. The pros are the same reason I'd put it on my cereal. It's goooooooood. I say use it.

    Poker anyone?

I occasionally go to the Mississippi gulf coast and play tournaments & cash games. At one time I played 5 days a week 4-5 hours each day for about 2 years. Got tired of hanging out at casinos with drunk people and/or old people. However I did make a lot of money in that time. Oh I...

    Dangers of Homebrewing

My homebrew did make me go blind. I boosted the alcohol in this Ale to around 12% and after several pints I couldn't find my way out of my bathroom. Woke up in the bathtub.

    Flip Top Bottle Carbonation Issues

The gaskets are new. This is the second time I used the gaskets. The first time there were some bottles that didn't carbonate well and I thought I'd traced that to not filling the bottles equally and leaving too much space in some. However this time I was more careful and still got...

    Flip Top Bottle Carbonation Issues

I have a theory that might be more conspiracy than anything else. The bottles I opened after 2 weeks of carbonation were very carbonated. After 3-4 weeks less carbonated and now at 6+ weeks it seems like little to no carbonation. I wonder if it could be leaking past the gaskets over...

    Flip Top Bottle Carbonation Issues

I've got 24 1 liter flip top bottles. For bottling I do a standard issue process I found in the "How To Brew" book. 2/3 cup of cane sugar boiled with 2 cups of water, cooled and then poured in the bottom of the bottling bucket. I siphon the beer in to the bucket and give it a gentle stir...

So How The Hell Do You Install A Temperature Controller?

So I have an A19ABA controller. I wired it and carried it outside to go install on the freezer. Do you run the probe in to the freezer through the drain plug, lid or does it replace the pre-existing freezer thermostat? Thought I'd ask before I broke something. Never worked on a freezer...

Best way to convert this new Freezer I found

I think folks around here refer to it as a "Keezer". If you do a search on keezer you should find some pretty interesting conversions documented.
