Got mine in the keg today and its already great. The wife even liked it and she is not a big fan of stouts. I'm going to let it sit in the keg for about 2 weeks and then put it in the fridge and carb it.

This was my first mini-mash and I was surprised on how easy it was. Obvioulsy the final product will be the true judge.

So how long have people been letting this one age? I brewed mine on the 24th and its happily bubbling away in the primary now. I planned on at least 3-4 weeks in the primary then either a secondary or keg it and let it age in the keg. Thanks

Edit: I found my answer Thanks though One question I have about partial mashing. Most of the articles listed state brewing about a 3 gal batch. Would there be any negatinve effect to brew a PM in a 5 gal batch and where should you adjust your water quantity (during the mash or in the boil)...

I guess I should have been a little clearer, sorry. Is there going to be any negative effect to carba and dispense with CO2 over setting up a nitro/ beergas tank. I failed to mention the nitro/ beer gas in the original post.

OK I have my AHB chocolate rasberry stout brewed today but I am planning in advance. Will it be OK to keg and carb the beer with CO2 without and negative effects instead of useind a nitro/beer gas setup.. A few searches did not pull anything so thanks ahead of time for the info.

I have my hose ordered and should have my tank setup outside the fridge by friday. I have the same setup as BlakMajix so I will be running 2 hoses in for a dual reg and was trying to see how I was going to accomplish this. Thanks for the info from everyone on this one.

No problem, I just picked up the same system this week and had the reg sitting in the basement. Just finished my kegerator today and will be firing it up next week when I get my CO2 tank filled.
