    Dry Hopping in Keg Question

I did a search and read extensively about this and did not find a direct answer to my question. Please reassure me that all will be well or tell I'm screwed up front. I racked to a keg on Friday night and tossed in 1 oz of pellet hops. Will the pellets sink to the bottom and get spat...

    Homebrewtalk.com brewers grow up fast

I agree with everything everyone has already said. As a resource HBT is simply outstanding. My ability as a homebrewer went from "meh" to "wow" in very short order. Because of this forum I am going to have to start some kind of serious exercise program. I now drink way more beer...

This. Swamp coolers make my beer better.

Fair enough. I agree that a) I'm working the idea too hard; and b) you should be happy if you get what you pay for. There is nothing quite as empowering to a homebrewer as a pound of hops on your doorstep when you get home from work.

    hopsdirect.com

:off: This is an interesting problem. From a customer service perspective, if a company consistently does something beyond what customers expect but then fails to do so on occasion, how SHOULD the customers who don't get that "little extra" feel? I would think that despite the ability to...

My "pound" of centennial pellets arrived this morning. Definitely a generous pound. Pound.

    Brew it, I'm screwing

You cannot build a legendary thread with an ordinary title. I have tremendous ambition.

    Brew it, I'm screwing

Because of this thread: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f14/screw-im-brewing-115440/ and because I'm weak and because I went into academia so I could make my own schedule and because I CAN. I have a lot of brewing to do to get ready for the 4th of July and the kegs that will be delivered...

    Screw it, I'm brewing!

Must....not....brew... The shuttle driver just called and so I must go. I shall work today, go to band rehearsal, drink beer at the best taproom in town afterwards, work tomorrow and brew tomorrow night :D. :ban::ban::ban:

    Screw it, I'm brewing!

There are 25 lbs in a box near my front door from you waiting for my first 10 gallon batch of house ale v2.0. I expect it will be excellent. Back on topic, I'm at home today waiting for the shop to call me about my car. They needed to make more money off me than they could in one day...

    MillerCoors Panel Questions

OK, I'll bite. Question 5 presumes a drinking problem and none of the available answers allows you to indicate the question is irrelevant. Same with 4th from the bottom. I can drink light beer and function just fine... Strongly disagree. Light beer totally throws me off my groove...

    Screw it, I'm brewing!

Isn't that the way it always works when you take off work to goof off? Best of luck with the kitchen floor and the wind. It's blowing like hell up here in Durham as well. I'm still envious.

    Screw it, I'm brewing!

I hate you :D. I have at least two brews queued up and can't see my way clear to a brewday. I must find time to brew because we have a huge 4th of July party every year and this year we're serving homebrew from a newly minted (still in progress) 4-perlick keezer. The beer has to be...

My First AG Brew Day! (With Mucho Pic's since We all love that)

Congratulations on what looks like a successful brew day! Are you boiling with a propane burner on a wood deck  ? I have this same brew in primary waiting to crash cool and keg. Looking forward to trying it as well. Cheers :mug:

    continuous brewing

This makes much sense, although complex brewing isn't necessarily the only reason to be organized. You may also want to keep a notebook which can then also serve as a calendar. That will help you remember how you brewed in case you like a recipe a lot and want to modify it later. It...
