Installing Bosch tankless water heater with filter

NICE! We didn't notice that big of a drop after installing the tankless. I bet the LED's and the tankless combined did the trick. Congratulations!

    TeensyNet Project Interest?

I'll be more than happy to help with the design of an enclosure. While I don't know Inkscape, I'm pretty good with Illustrator and a buddy of mine works at a plastic shop with a laser cutter. We can fab up some prototype enclosures for you if you'd like. Since I'm not much help one the...

Installing Bosch tankless water heater with filter

Great location for the tankless!! FYI, you might want to consider installing isolation valves to do an annual flushing of the heater. The hard water here in San Diego can result in calcium buildup on the heat exchanger reducing the effectiveness. I just did an annual flush on my unit a few...

    ebay aquarium temp controller build

It also depends on his controller as to whether or not he can plug it into a controlled outlet. What if he wants to heat using a 120v element and the fridge control circuit is only 12v? There's also the possibility that the temp range on his fridge doesn't get cold enough as was the case with...

    ebay aquarium temp controller build

raouliii is correct. You want to connect the black and red wires to run the compress all the time or use those two wires across your controller relay. I didn't look at the schematic thoroughly before.

    ebay aquarium temp controller build

Just a guess here by looking at the provided schematic, try jumping the red and white wires in the lower left of your circuit board and see if the compressor kicks on. Trace those two wires back to the compressor to be sure they connect to it. If so, then those are the two wires that would...

    ebay aquarium temp controller build

I was thinking about doing that as well, but wanted to have the power cord going out the back for placement in my fridge. Good to know that you can place the outlet in the back as well.

    ebay aquarium temp controller build

I actually just used that wiring to test the configuration. I now have it hooked directly up to the wiring on my wine fridge bypassing the stock relay and temperature control circuit. The outlet is for future heating needs and not grounded. I'll wait and see if any heating pads need a...

raouliii: Yes, there is a jumper in there that is as low profile as I could get. Nice catch!! The link you have is the exact one that I have.

    Stc-1000+

Adding another one to the mix. Although, this is not labeled as an STC-1000. I removed the capacitors here to get a clear picture of the microprocessor.

    ebay aquarium temp controller build

raouliii: It is not an STC-1000 and it does heat and cool. I've even tested to make sure that it works as I wired it up.

    ebay aquarium temp controller build

Just thought I would add my temp controller build to the list. I was looking for something as small as possible yet still allow for an outlet. Digging around the local big orange home supply center, I found a plastic box that measures 4x4x2. So of to work I went cramming everything inside and...

HOWTO - Make a BrewPi Fermentation Controller For Cheap

I've been watching BrewPi for sometime now and really like the interface they have created. My big question that has been bugging me is why use an Arduino when the RaspberryPi can interface with temperature sensors and relays directly?

    Stc-1000+

I remember those back in the days of flashing the ECU on my car! Can you use that by just connecting it to the pins on the STC-1000 board, or do you need to remove the chip and place it in the ZIF socket?

    Stc-1000+

Curiosity, can you flash these with a raspberry pi as well?
