I agree about poppet springs being too long. I also purge out my poppets after each keg with a syringe and star san. I cut, with a box cutter, slits in end of plastic syringe so the star san goes sideways when you push down on the poppet valve. Look at the spring and only a half turn of spring...

My water supplier calls me Norm when I get RO water to mix with city water!

I have my unit on refrigerator castors. Low profile and many rollers so less pounds of pressure on the floor per square inch. Used it for over ten years now!I made a wooden platform where the keezer slides in from the rear and castors are on platform. Looks sharp and no issues if you change keezers!

I use two reptile bulbs. No light, great heat... Works safe! I also agree mats would work but I like my bulbs because I think I get a more even heat for fermenting. On problem start ups I also use a heat belt! Just plug in a controller and put the thermostat on something like a cooler blue pack...

Any new updates??? I like the idea of additional screens attached to the centre screw! This could stop clumping of hops as well!

I like the look but the area I am installing it in will have a keg for water supply and another keg for waste water with an air compressor and an air tank supplying the 30 lb. pressure. I love the sleek look. My brewery sink could be used but it is a commercial stainless sink with two aprons...
