Does Anybody Have the Ward Labs water profile for Missoula Montana?

Just got back, I can get a sample, easy to get a sample from that area as I have a fiend that lives real close unless they are on a well. I will do some asking around.

    First Brew Boss brew day

mOOps, Thanks so much for sharing. I have I guess 10 brews under my belt with my 15 gallon COLI system and have had good luck. I had a interference issue with the wireless but that has been corrected. I like the system.

    Brew-Boss and Spa Panel configuration

I'll give this a try from what I remember, there are a few other posts about this. What is different with the three wire and four wire is that the four wire uses a ground wire. The three wire is two hot legs and the white neutral leg. Your gray and black are your hot legs and your white...

Thinking about switching to e-BIAB with Brew-Boss

Greetings, I have the 15 gallons BB system with the COFI, If you believe you can hold a strainer filled with 10 to 20 lbs of boiling grain above the wort so it can drain, go for it. Really, Yes you need a pulley or a winch setup. I put a HF chain winch on a ceiling joist as well as all...

Thinking about switching to e-BIAB with Brew-Boss

I was thinking about the 20 gallon system but chose the 15 instead. I have brewed two high gravity, 20 lbs plus grain bill, six gallon batches with no problems. I am still getting ready to brew another and then try doing a parti gyle second running. Later

Thinking about switching to e-BIAB with Brew-Boss

Really, you need to read the Brew Boss manual. You need to understand the program a little. Cleaning: I first rinse all the trub out, as much as possible. I have saved about 4 to 5 gallons of hot water from my chiller and I add it to the kettle. Add Cleaner. I will know scrub the...

    Brew Boss Systems

The process that I have been using is to whirlpool and then run though my CF chiller. I can chill a 6 gallon batch to 65 degrees in about 10 minutes with recycled water. I only use the whirlpool is I am using pellet hops and have a lot of trub at the bottom. Give it a try and let us know...

wort chilling with 85 degree groundwater

olotti, This is what i do. 35 gallon plastic garbage can filled with water. I freeze 2 liter plastic soda bottles and come brew day will add 5 to 6 in to the can. I have a HF big fountain pump to pull water to my IC. I catch the first 4 gallons for clean up and then recycle the rest...

    Clogged Dip Tube

When you get that keg cold enough, the CO2 will settle down and keep foaming to a minimum. I have taken the poppet out of the OUT post as well as the guts out of the connector to stop the clogging. Push in to a purged keg with CO2.

    Brew Boss Systems

Thought I would chime in. I have the 15 gallon with the COFI and so far so good. I have done two high gravity brews, a DIPA and a RIS, both with over 20 lbs of grain and OG of over 1.09. My initial water volume with both is about 10 gallons. The efficiency is down a little but still over...

    Brew Boss Systems

Freddy, I have yet to brew a 10 gallon batch but I have cooked a 21 lbs load of brain for a RIS a while ago. I was about 1.1 OG and generated about 6 gallons of brew into my carboy. I had plenty of room for more grain, you will loose efficiency though. maybe a longer mash out? If you...

    Brew Boss Systems

Yes I have, with a brand new Themopen that I bought for my old system. Using this as well as my other thermometers, I have checked over the first four runs, all were spot on. This is part of the beauty of this system, easy control of time and temperature. I guess I might just sell my...
