I have not tried it but I would love to hear the results!

    Portable igloo cooler kegerator

Lowes has the 60 qt on super sale right now... I would have to fit two 3 gallons with metal tops, so I guess that won't work? The 70qts are at least twice the price.

    Show us your SWMBO...

Absolutely not true. Great pic! Actually a little dissapointed that this was our last time, but we don't want anymore kids, lol.

    Fruit Beer Watermelon Wheat

Hard to say... I don't really know what you consider a "hot" wing, you know? There's definitely no mistaking it for a watermelon beer. I think a lot of that is the shot of extract I add too... that adds a lot of aroma which I think enhances the perceived flavor.... if that makes sense. Make no...

    Fruit Beer Watermelon Wheat

So my verdict is in.... Version 5 is the best so far. I actually did this as 2.5 gallons of beer with 4 cups of juice, so I updated my webpage to be 8 cups of juice for 5 gallons. I edited my previous v.5 post here. Pic...Golden wheat beer with just a hint of pink:

That is amazing... Love the weathered look for the tower and taps, and the PABST handles just completely bring it home!!!

Clone Beer Founder's Breakfast Stout Clone

The answer to 1 is a resounding yes. And I love chocolate mousse so it's hard not to stick my face right in it!

    DIY Beer Line Cleaner

Not going to clutter this up with pics, but I built one of these to the OP's specs and it is FANTASTIC!!! Great solution for bypassing the whole "push a keg full of sanitizer through with your CO2" issue. Especially since I like to pump Oxyclean through, then chase it with Starsan. Pump 50...

    Fruit Beer Watermelon Wheat

QFT. Nylon washer in my 1/4" MFL connecting my beer line to my ball lock was seated slightly off. Lost the whole ~2 gallons of the strawberry wheat. Shop-vac came in handy. :(

    Watermelon Hefeweizen -- Feedback Please

Just worried that by adding so much that you're just adding a lot of water, that's all.

    Coconut Porter......using rum?

Correct.... I meant, what if I used a whole bottle of Malibu to flavor/prime?

    Coconut Porter......using rum?

In Radical Brewing, Mosher says he used a whole fifth of tripel sec in a 5 gallon batch of beer to prime it.... Thinking that might be too much coconut flavor?

    Coconut Porter......using rum?

What style of beer? Most of the posts here are talking about porter... Anyone try it in a wheat/wit style? Looking for a good amount of coconut rum or toasted flakes to use with some pineapple extract.... You see where I'm going with this.

    Watermelon Hefeweizen -- Feedback Please

Damn.... Too late to help Draygon. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f75/watermelon-wheat-139086/ I would never add any fruit before secondary. And would definitely never boil the flavors away.

    Weissbier Orange Honey Hefeweizen

You got it. I soak it for a week or two then pour it through a coffee filter rubber banded around a pint glass to strain it.

    Weissbier Orange Honey Hefeweizen

Check the "soaked zest" paragraph on the original post. You extract the oils from the zest, don't actually add the physical zest.

    Fruit Beer Watermelon Wheat

First pull of strawberry wheat. Again, it's half (2.5 gallons) of the WW v.5 recipe with 5 lbs of berries. Fantastic strawberry flavor! Even with the yeast blowout, lol.
