Green scrubby shouldn't cause micro scratches, since polymers are much softer than metals. I use a CIP ball to clean mine, but as Jag75 mentioned I don't get much on my life either.

Outer Barrier
The outer barrier is made from EVA material and provides a decent stiffness to the tubing while still remaining pliable. This not only makes EVABarrier extremely kink resistant, it also makes it the best tubing to be used with Duotight, John Guest...
If you are not worried about a spigot, get a piece of round oak rod and sand it down so that you have a tapered plug and pound it in, I believe that is how whiskey makers do it when they do it.
Well I thought I had everything going for the Brewpiless. I see to be stuck on how to set the iSpindel up to run the calibration during fermentation. I go the Brewpiless to see the iSpindel but now when I am attempting to set up for the calibration I am not getting anything. I am unsure what...
DuncB,
I think I might have found the issue. I did a factory reset and the ispindel identified itself as iSpindel_iSpindel100, so it seems that the info after the underscore is what I had incorrect. Looks like that took care of it. :)
DuncB,
I calibrated the Ispindel once with sugar water and I have used it once or twice (with Fermentrack).
Ispindel name is Ispindel_0001
Server Address is the one for the Brewpiless (I have tried it with the iSpindel serve address too, no luck either).
I am unable to get my iSpindel to communicate with my BrewPiLess system. I believe I have set iSpindel up correctly for Brewpiless, but I never see any reading when I am running a profile. Anyone have a clue what I am doing incorrectly? (first image is the ISpindel page, second is the...
I stopped using the elbow, I have the butterfly valve and a hose barb fitting and just dump straight into a small bucket (I attach a short piece of tubing to the hose barb. I have not had any problems doing it this way without issue (though some type of valve that I could control the dump speed...
All, I am looking for a controller board design (or where to purchase) based on the Brewpiless work. I found a site The Hoppy Valley Choosing an Open Source Fermentation Controller that shows a board call "The Brewboard" that I would like to use, there isn't any link to the group that...
Here is the direct link to the boards I think you are asking about.

I am using the board from the Fermentrack build and just uploaded the firmware directly to the D1. The board from Fermentrack have to be built. I forget who I used to build them but pretty sure it was on the Fermentrack build page
The center of the nipple should fit an Allen wrench, remove that and replace the captive )-ring. I have one of these and I really do not like it I think mine is made by tap-rite. I also have the other style that uses a large polymer flat washer but it is a really cheap regulator which leaks...
SI i tried to use the latest version, and my unit would never update. As I mentioned I had to load an earlier version that uses USB to connect to the BeerPi, it uses WiFi to transfer data to and from the Fermentrack interface. You might try that and see if it corrects your issue.
Which version of BrewPi are you running? I have not had any luck running the newer versions (WiFI enabled) and they will not work with a USB, so I am using an older version with USB
