I use the pail and eyeballing method. That close enough. Some days the grain will absorb more or less, or boil off will be different. I dont brew in a lab with perfect atmospheric conditions so I'd expect to be off a tad each time. when you guys mark the lines on your site glass did you do it...

I think the creativity part of brewing is in the equipment. Always trying to come up with something that will help out or save time.

I brew pretty much all winter with a round 5 gallon cooler and might lose a degree or two when its in the teens or lower,, but thats about it.

In a cream ale huh. Was there corn in this cream ale. I started getting a weird taste in when I started using corn. It was like a funny piña colata type taste. Started using rice insteAd and it went away

if it was a good clone maybe they wouldnt mind as much . I'm sure they dont want people thinking that a crappy clone or a clone that is way off in taste is the same as their product
