I think with any "hobby" or connoisseur be it wine, beer, cars, model rockets, astronomy, ect you will have people who want to spread their love to others but you'll also have people who are just a**holes and see themselves as superior to others.

After reading through this thread I want to hear someone put some dark food coloring in BMC for one of their BMC friends who don't like "dark beers" and see what they think. That could be a fun experiment.
