    It's the only thing I do know! My wife thinks it's great that I brew so much. ( sort of ) She like that I am home. The baby is 15 months old and we brew together all the time. That's what the baby backpack is for.

    Oxyclean + Aluminum = Reaction!

    I wouldn't use that pot again. If you are going to use it fill it up with water and boil. If you can see oil on the top of the water, dump out and scrub. I know someone that had to do this 13 times in order to get all of the oil out. Good luck

    Povidone Iodine?

    Iodophor is just a sanitizer. You will need BLC or (i think its star san.) I use BLC because the star san left little granuals. It never messed with the taste, just weirded me out a little. I get both here www.superprod.com

    When I run out of my homebrew I just go get a sixth barrel ( 5 gallon )form the store until mine is ready. You would need a sanke tap, either way

    It is a brand new O-ring and when I do hit the gas it bubbles out, is there a certian direction that some lids need to be facing

    I was told a long time ago to make sure that I boiled the lid and O-ring to help it seal. The leak is comming from the O-ring

    I have a Moby Mash Paddle. It is one solid peice of wood. It looks like a oar with about 8 holes in it. When people drive by they always turn and check out the 4 1/2 foot brew paddle.
