    Meat Grinder

If you are only ever doing small batches, the attachment is probably good enough. Larger batches are going to take a little more time, possibly require resting the grinder at some points, but will still get the job done. I have a 1 HP LEM grinder, but then again I will often grind 2-3 deer's...

    ANDROID Phones are for girls!!!!

Judging by the post I quoted, I am not sure you DO know the difference between true multitasking and multi threading or even have any familiarity with the concepts. . I don't often pull up cad drawings either, that was merely an example. Another would be loading a YouTube video and then...

    ANDROID Phones are for girls!!!!

The iphone does not have true multi tasking. When you switch from one app to another, the first app pauses and the second one starts or resumes. In many cases, this doesn't matter as you don't have too many apps that do processing when you aren't using them. One example would be rendering...

    homemade jerky

I had always heard was the pepper was to hide the fly specks. ... lol There are people who still air dry their jerky, usually in their attic where it is good and warm. I prefer the smoker though. I've had jerky from the oven and dehydrator, but I like the jerky from the smoker best.

    Temp Control for keezer

You could also just recalibrate the freezer thermostat so it will run above freezing, no controller needed. If you look closely, inside that little hole is a calibration screw. For my freezer, I had to turn that little guy clockwise probably 4 turns. It takes several days to dial it...

    Auto-fill beer chair!

    http://www.bottomsupbeer.com/ I'll pass I think. $1300 is a bit much for a single tap

    Going all-grain on a budget.

Here is the brew kettle I just received: http://www.ebay.com/itm/130722410669 $120 for a 32 Qt SS pot with SS valve and thermometer. It isn't as heavy as my normal 14 Qt stock pot, but it holds water just fine. As long as you don't run it dry, this shouldn't be a problem. The cool thing...

can carpet cleaning soulution be removed from Cony Kegs.

Personally, I would use them as dedicated cleaning kegs myself. I wouldn't risk putting beer in them.

What equipment are you buying with tax return?

I really need to optimize my withholdings like this as well. I had a much larger refund than I was expecting, and I could do much more with the extra money every month than it does to receive a windfall once a year. Hopefully I can get it nailed down.

    RensBerserker's Keezer... The RensBerKeezer

Very nice. I'm planning something similar. I'm hoping to avoid using a collar though. Since it will be a coffin build, I don't care if I end up drilling through the lid one more time for gas.

Seriously the easiest DIY ever for bottling bucket dip tube

Looks like a great little mod. I will have to grab my spigot before I go to Home Depot this weekend for parts for my next little project. The only thing is I don't see too much bottling in my future. Still, it is a cheap enough mod and who knows, I may end up bottling a batch or two if...

    Will this heatsink work?

I haven't tried it, but I see no reason it wouldn't work. Make sure you use thermal paste where the heat sink and ssr meet.

    How Many Use RO/DI

I don't currently use ro water. Adding ro is one of my plans for when I get around yo redoing my kitchen. I use filtered tap water currently. I have an under sink charcoal filter. Nothing fancy, but I also only have 4 brews under my belt.

    Keezer build plumbing ???'s

The only thing I can think of is a drip tray. Looks like everything else is there. Of course, that's optional.

What did you learn this week?

I'm in the process of building one myself, I got the same faucets/shanks. The good news is I had budgeted for a brand new 7.2 CF chest freezer but scored one on Craigslist for $50. I am debating adding nitro as well.

    My first keezer build

You might want to look into getting a lift assist cylinder for the cover/top. It will help with loading kegs. If I had room for something like that in my house, I'd consider it. As it is, my plan is to make one that sits against the wall, but is still a coffin style build. I hope to have a...
