How many people lost their keezer to covid?

Be careful. Some places take liquor laws seriously.

    Which electric controller?

FWIW, I rerouted the wiring a bit to allow more room if I want to add anything later.

    Which electric controller?

Thanks for that. For anyone else, there are three sources of info on how to wire this: PDF schematics, the book that they send you, and the assembled photos. The book and photos show the correct wiring for the e-stop although, as k-os points out, the schematics don't. One problem is that the...

    Which electric controller?

Do you mind saying where the schematics errors are? The only one I've found sends the Power-In-Neutral to ground. Thanks, Richard

    Spike's upcoming eBIAB system

Has anyone thought about how to use this with a steam condensing unit? Since the recirc inlet is in the basket, I'm thinking the steam outlet would need to be on the lid.

    Crane's Never ending Brewery Upgrades

I love that image. How did you make it? Also, do you mind revealing your source in China for stainless? Cheers, Richard

    DIY glycol heat pump?

I use my sparge water heater (essentially an urn) for warm water to run through my fermenter coils for Kveik fermenting at 90F+. No glycol needed. Ball valves let me switch from cooling to heating. It's not automated, but I've never needed to do both on one brew until it's time to cold crash.

    SS Brewtech Keg Cleaner

Thanks for that. I'm also planning to use an external pump. How did you attach it? Hose and clamp around the metal? Or barb into their rubbery barb adapter? Do you remember what sizes were required? Cheers, Richard

    SS Brewtech Keg Cleaner

I've had two of the Keg Wassher pumps fail. I am not amused. I just noticed the pump says 12v and the power supply it came with says 24v. Can anyone confirm theirs is the same?

Node-RED for Raspberry pi-based brewery control

Thanks for posting that. I have most of the parts for my controller. Waiting for the time to put it together. Cheers, Richard

Node-RED for Raspberry pi-based brewery control

Cheers. I just ordered the PCB. Now I'm working on electronics, and I'm open to suggestions. Looking at Hosehead or maybe sourcing parts from theelectricbrewery

Node-RED for Raspberry pi-based brewery control

Thanks so much for posting this. Node RED is much easier to modify than anything else I've seen, and your flows are well done and easy to follow. [FWIW, the TiltPi monitoring program is also NodeRED, but much harder to follow.] I loaded your flows into a fresh install of Node RED. Only needed...

Node-RED for Raspberry pi-based brewery control

This is exciting. I'm thinking I can run Node-Red in a docker, and use one or more ESP8266 to sense temps and trip relays. That way I avoid the RPi SD card point of failure.

    Anybody using BrewStat.us?

Seems promising, but I'm not finding much chatter on Homebrewtalk. https://www.brewstat.us
