What style of beer?

I am 28 and brew 2-3 times a month with my Dad who is getting close to 60.

I have the cf5 and its definitely super high quality and awesome to use. All the questions I asked before purchasing were answered quickly as well. My experience with spike has been awesome! I don't think you can really go wrong with either products.

Oooh that's pretty sweet! Something like that could probably be setup with the Spike conical with the sight glass and an extra TC valve as well. You could just attach the sight glass to the first valve, then another valve on the other end of the sight glass. I am not 100% sure that would work...

Nice! I'm having a hard time deciding if i want to try an aquarium chiller or just bite the bullet and go glycol. Does crashing to 43 seem enough to you?

I think they are sending it to people who own the conical first but it says it'll be available in March for everyone as well.

Did it come out of the prv when you bled it or something?

So you let it get up to 15 psi and then rely on the prv to let off any extra pressure?

Cool thanks! Is forgoing the blow off tube completely and just using the spunding valve from the start a bad idea?

How did you keep it to 3psi? I've been using a blow off but that sounds nice.
