I brewed a batch about 3 weeks ago and the infection looked like white cobwebbs about half inch tall throughout the top of the secondary. it was difficult to tell how it affected the beer because it had a lb of honey and bitter orange peel in it. It did have fruity and slightly sour taste to it...

I was wondering about fermentation temps they seem lower than what i usually use. how would a say 70 to 72 degree temp work versus a lower 60 temp?

im gonna try partial grain method tomorrow ive done about 20 batches with inly 1 fail so im happy with extract just want more flexability and less cost lol ie scotch/irish cheapskate

Im a Apple Valley resident myself and am in the same boat been extract brewing for a year or so so still a newbie but definately interested in the all grain method just chicken...LoL
