I stumbled across this recipe a couple of months back and made a gallon of it. I had forgotten about it till I saw this thread again. I took a look at the bottle last night, and it looks like all the oranges are on the bottom of the jug now. I'll bottle and post some pics this weekend...

My apologies, This is my sample to take a gravity reading. Its still in the primary. By the reading, I am pretty close to FG, so will look to bottle in a few more days. I just thought it was odd that there was already CO2 in solution. My last batch did not have that.

Defintely a memorable day! Took a gravity reading last night and it was down to 1.026 from 1.047 on Saturday, and didn't taste too bad! Things are moving along!

I'm set to start my first boil this weekend and my pot is a heavily used aluminum turkey fryer pot. Fried plenty of turkeys but most recently it has been used for shrimp boils. Am I good to go, or should I at least get a new aluminum pot? I say a new aluminum pot, because ivegot a gift card...
