I put a spoon in the bag and boiled both for 15 minutes. Put hops in bag and drop in keg. The spoon keeps the bag down in the keg.

I'm looking for a cheap regulator I can use to use in my brew room to transfer, seal kegs and such. Anyone have one they want to get rid of? Minneapolis area is preferable but will certainly pay to ship it.

I just shook the keg with 30psi hooked up to it and could hear the gas entering as it went into solution. Pretty cool

I picked up a super agata bench capper off amazon a couple months ago. Works way better and I'm not scared of bottles smashing or slipping out under me anymore.

I believe I just got the same tuning on Amazon. Judging by the reviews it will be fine and it can handle the pressure so I don't see any problems with it. That being said I haven't used it yet.

I picked up some used ball lock kegs and I noticed that one has a dent on the post. Should I replace the post or do you think I'm good?

I'm going to justify it as backup soon enough I think. What if I run out of co2 on a Friday night and I want another beer?! That would be some scary stuff.

Fair enough. The kegerator is in the dining room and I brew in the basement so pushing with co2 will be tough unless I buy any other regulator and tank. Gotta let the finances settle first.
