    GRABASS test run 1/24

I think we're shooting for a 10am start. I'm not particularly interested in the ball games and I have 2 batches to do so I'm no big hurry to get started let alone finish :mug: FYI The best BoJangles is in Plymouth. Its brand new and the bathrooms have those fancy Dyson hand dryers...

    GRABASS test run 1/24

From the center of Fayetteville straight up I-95 to I-40 Google says its 53 minutes to my house. I drive down that way all the time and it takes me right at an hour to get to a Bo-Jangles there just past where 295 ends. There's a possibility we'll have a tv set up in the garage for those...

    GRABASS test run 1/24

Folster and a couple of my drinking buddies are going to be in my garage on Sunday. Folster and I are doing a 10 gallon IPA and I have a 5 gallon stout I need to make, as well as racking over the Cranky Angel and What-cha-got-stew from the Brewgasm. Also I have my first keg'd beer carb'd (a...

    GRABASS 1/9 Brewgasm (Cary, NC)

Also wanted to say I had a blast yesterday. Thanks to Walker and the missus for the hospitality, and Brownie and Boomer for the love, Boston for the MLT, and everyone else for all your help and the brews! I hit 79% efficiency yesterday. Must be beginners luck. The biscuit-Kolsh is bubbling...

    GRABASS 1/9 Brewgasm (Cary, NC)

I have 4' of 1/2" high temp tubing and 2x 3piece airlocks and 100-200 ft of hose in my truck (and of course whatever kit I can think to bring since this is my first cross country brew session). A brewing buddy of mine may show up later tomorrow to "help" if that's ok.

Yep no problem on the airlocks. Like I said, its basically on my way home from work so even if I didn't need yeast its a simple stop. I'll be outta here around 5pm so if anyone needs anything else post up before then.

    GRABASS 1/9 Brewgasm (Cary, NC)

Will pick up the tubing no problem. I'm going with the Wyeast #2565 Kolsch. I'm trying to ape a Angry Angel kinda thing. Basically starting with a standard Kolsch and adding some biscuit malt and an aroma hop in order to match Big Boss's description. I'm sure I have way too much biscuit...

    GRABASS 1/9 Brewgasm (Cary, NC)

Heh, the airborne thing is my main obsession. If you're bored have a look. http://www.bigskyhg.com -- my site http://www.freeflync.org -- the local club There's only about 8-10 of us in the area that are active but that's more of an exposure issue than anything. We get out about...

Chad, I'll back out for sure to let you in. I'm coming to learn and hang out so no worries. Also if there's any last minute stuff folks need, I work in N. Raleigh and can stop by the shop Friday if need be.

    GRABASS 1/9 Brewgasm (Cary, NC)

Hi all, new here. I have 100-150' of hose I can bring. I also have 2, 5 gallon all grain kits I could bring (a kinda wanna be Angry Angel with probably too much biscuit malt, and a dark cherry stout kit from NB) or I'd be happy to go in on a 10 gallon batch of anything with someone. I...
