What do you use RO water for, besides brewing?

Beer, starters, coffee, ice, water for the dogs (keeps the scaling down on the bowl) and my daughters turtle. It's all good.

Burned Melted plug and receptacle--Help, please

I just went through this myself. I "think" it may have been a loose connection. You may want to regularly check (1/year ?) all the screw terminal connections and make sure that they are tight. Another thing would be to double check to make sure you're using the right sized gage wire for the...

    New taps

Why not replace just the O-rings? And maybe add an intertap spring? As long as you don't need the plastic bearing cup(6) it should be easily rebuildable. The dash number of the o-rings listed below. -906, -018 & -204

    Hopzoil Experience and Usage

I was an "extra" too and got it the other day-thanks @Corny Keg too :bigmug: . Envelope smelled great. Still not sure how I'm going to test it. I didn't see anything about storage. Should it go in the fridge to be safe? Does it matter?

Same is true when traveling 94 east/west thru Milwaukee (south of milwaukee thru Chicago). You're actually going north/south. You don't go east/west until you're south of Chicago or unitl you hit milwaukee.

    1990 Tasting

Point is still around. And I believe it's the oldest/longest continuing running brewery in the state. Or something along those lines-heard it on a you tube video somewhere. Still, not really a fan of their beers.

    1990 Tasting

Sorry, 1991. Are you looking for only 1990 or the 90's? I thought of the latter.

Boulevard Pale Ale maybe the un-filtered Wheat too. New Belgium Fat Tire, the OG one not the "new" one.

NEW Product Launch - Spike Brew Pump

Got mine yesterday and started taking it apart to see 1st hand how it all works. Waiting on other fittings so I can take it for a test ride this weekend hopefully. Is there going to be a "rebuild" kit option available? I don't see any of the "wearable" parts listed on the site yet (o-rings...

    DYI bottom draining kettles

That's true but you'd have to allow for that to clear whatever you have your "kettle" on. In my case, I didn't want to hack into my SS table that my kettle sits on. That's why I have it plumbed to go threw the skirt on the keg. I can rest it on a table without any ill effects.

    DYI bottom draining kettles

Isn't the whole point of a bottom draining kettle to be able to "flush" everything out the bottom? Use a 2" tri-clamp to cap off the end. That way it's removable.
