How do you partial mash canned pumpkin?

Do you think you'll follow the schedule laid out in Extreme Brewing by starting with boiling the pumpkin? Not ure if I'll go that route or not. I'm going to try to get some organic canned pumpkin and I'm not sure if I want to boil it in the beginning or add it at the end, or maybe just rack on...

Just cracked my 1st 2 HB beers

No need to rush it. 2 weeks in primary and 2 weeks in the bottle is pretty fast. I did a watermelon weizen that I popped on 4th of July. I went with 2 weeks primary, 2 weeks secondary and 4 weeks in the bottle. Drank a couple after week 3 in the bottle, put them in the fridge for 48 hours...

    Brewers Best Summer Ale

The directions tell you exacly what to do and when to do it. After you've steeped the grains you get your boil going. Once your boiling, stir in all of the DME and LME. Bring to a boil again. Once boiling again, add your bittering hops. Boil for 40 minutes. When 40 minutes is up, drop in...

Can I increase alcohol level after adding yeast?

First brew? Just follow the recipe and don't worry so much about the abv. You'll be happy you did after you experiment on your second brew and screw it up. I'm joking...sort of:D Besides, it's the perfect time of year for a low abv lawn mower
