This was a test run of the "keg tool" I made using a top that I cut out of one of my kegs.

    Keg tool

During my last order from McMaster Carr a few weeks ago I did a little research and came up with my version of the keg tool. It certainly isn't as elegant or sophisticated as greenmonty's but it did get the job done. The two main ingredients are a 3/4" to 1/2" stainless steel butt-weld...

Welding 101 = Fun Brutus Build

Good for you for mastering the dark art of fusing metal with electricity and heat without injury to yourself or distruction of property. I am real close to starting my own e-brutus build. I took an evening welding class at the community college last spring and learned stick and MIG. I had...

    Keg tool

In a previous post, GreenMonti stated that the couple could be fused to the keg by a TIG welder without filler material which would be a big advantage and produces a much nicer weld if done right. I've done some small amount of TIGing and it requires skill and practice. I could only hope to...

march pumps from pumps for less.com

Not quite the same. The ebay pump has a 3/8" inlet with 1/2" outlet. The pumpsforless pump has 1/2" inlet and outlet.

I would. But I'd first straighten out that one ground wire on the right. BTW did you pull a circuit for each outlet?

[/IMG] That's either OCD or someone's got too much time on his hands. That has got to be the neatest electrical panel I've ever seen. I wished mine looked like that.

    Diagnose this weld

You're absolutely right. I didn't specifically ask him to purge it. All I can say is is that it doesn't leak. On a similar note. I was taking a welding class at the community college earlier this year and learned to stick and mig. I had one evening of TIGing when my wife had an...

    Diagnose this weld

I agree. It took me a while to get over it but now I just chalk it up to experience. The welder I used did wonderful work with aluminum in aircraft but sucked with stainless. Blane

    How about another E-Rig!

Similar to a setup I'm thinking about. I like the idea with the float for the sight gauge. Keep us posted.
