New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I used 3rd gen giga Vermont IPA on a founders porter clone with a little extra black patent thrown in. At first it was kind of weird with the roast and peachy flavor, but after a month or two it mellowed out and the beer had a super silky mouth feel, much better than the us-05 ones I had done in...

When u do, go ahead set yourself up for closed transfers. I set mine up with stuff I already had around the house. Used a normal plastic racking cane through the airlock hole on a carboy cap and the co2 line connected to the blow off with a double sided barbed brass connector. Racked to a purged...

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

All my bottled heavy hopped IPAs looked like that before I started kegging, they all came out muddy brownish color after a few weeks in the bottle. Pretty sure it's an oxidation issue

I usually keg hop most of my beers including this one many times, I have never experienced grassiness but I used equal parts galaxy in this version and I taste grassy flavors. Its been in the keg 3 weeks, has anyone experienced this with galaxy?

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I'm looking to make a dank IPA with Columbus, Apollo, and simco or equinox. has any one tried this with this base? With the goal of making it dank and not juicy, would I be just better off with the traditional dry west coast set up?

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I've been using this thread as a basic guideline and have landed on Cl and SO4 both around 120 to 140 to be my sweet spot with the .25 honey malt with around 30% flaked grains mostly with Conan, but I wanted to ask with it being that time of year I've been seeing hop hash for sale, anyone ever...

Cold hop (the art formally know as dry hopping) in a keg, and leaving it there.

Has anyone tried dry hopping in the keg at room temp for a few days then moving the keg to the fridge till it kicks to get some warm and cold hopping out of the same addition?

Any Founder's Porter clone recipes or info?

Anyone tried adding a little roasted barley to this? I was thinking maybe .25-.5 lbs to add a little more coffee/roast flavor, or would it be too much along with the black patent?

Hey guys any suggestions on how to scale up the hops schedule for a 3 gallon boil? I planned a PM of this for Friday and any input would be great. Thanks

American Pale Ale Da Yooper's House Pale Ale

Hey guys and gals, I'm wanting to brew this as a partial mash with the 2 row replaced with 3# dme but I can only boil 3-3.5 gallons due to my set up, and was wondering how to adjust the hops to compensate. Any suggestion on a revised hop schedule would be great. Thanks!
