Help With All Cascade Pale Ale

It's funny you posted this today as I just tapped into the keg about a hour ago. I over carbonated the hell out of it. However, I love this brew. It's crisp and has great flavor. Just enough rye and it's cheap!!! The Cascade does really well here. I need to check my refractometer. It said...

    Grains for a stout?

This is similar to a stout that I make. I would consider adding a pound of oats. What OG are you shooting for?

    Reliability of Keezers

I've been using upright freezers and they have worked well for me. I can fit two kegs without trying. You can go up to 6 with a little creativity. I also like the upright as I can put my brew that is in bottles and brewing ingredients in one place without pissing off SWMBO.

Need a new supplier for all-grain brewing

+1 for More beer. Prices are decent and they have free shipping when you spend over $60 (maybe it's $59). My LHBS closed last year and morebeer generally get things to me in Atlanta within 2 business days. Customer service has been top notch. I tend to purchase grain in multiple 10# bags for...

I actually just brewed this today. Wort tasted amazing. Only changes were I went with 8# of Base malt and I used S-05 yeast. Can't wait to taste the results

    Chocolate stout unexpected results

I would first ask how does it taste? Good thing about home brewing is that we get to trial and error. It it taste good then make tweaks until perfect. If not try again. Lol.
