If you did it I would try doing it in secondary first. Reason I would be hesitant about doing via mash is the uncertainty of how certain chemicals will react when going through fermentation. I doubt if the apple Jack's uses all natural ingredients. Lol. There are similar threads to this but...

I've been using upright freezers and they have worked well for me. I can fit two kegs without trying. You can go up to 6 with a little creativity. I also like the upright as I can put my brew that is in bottles and brewing ingredients in one place without pissing off SWMBO.

I actually just brewed this today. Wort tasted amazing. Only changes were I went with 8# of Base malt and I used S-05 yeast. Can't wait to taste the results

I would first ask how does it taste? Good thing about home brewing is that we get to trial and error. It it taste good then make tweaks until perfect. If not try again. Lol.
