You're lucky. I wish it was in the low 60's here all the time. It's 90 one day, then 68 the next. It's almost summer, that's the easiest time. It's always 100-120ish. A/C running full speed, that's when I always get the best results.

DasBaldDog I've got the same problem. I'm in the middle of a fermentation chamber build. I chest freezer would have been cheaper, but I'll need a new kegerator. Guess that's what the chest freezer will be. MORE BEER:D

I've done the same thing. Had an off flavor, but after being in the keg for about 3 weeks, it was fine. Flavors back to normal, and it was great beer.

I have the same burner, have had it a few years, works great. I just put vice grips on the knob so I don't have to reset it every 15 minutes. When I upgraded to 52qt pots, I just removed the little ring on top that keeps your pot 'centered'. It still works fine with larger batches.

I'm cheap, so I use aluminum pots that I get for tamales. A 52qt pot for $30, you can't go wrong. I did notice, when I was oxidizing them, they actually retained the heat pretty well. It was in the high 40s over night outside, they were still over 120 degrees the next morning. (After about 7 hours)

I prefer leaf too, but I got tiered of dealing with bags. I use these, they're stainless and easy to deal with. Work great on brew day too.

The bunny isn't brewing today. He's attempting to harvest wild yeast from a few places today.
