    just a quick question im about to barrel this with the priming sugar, ill let it stand as per the advise but i don't have a fridge big enough to chill the barrel in, can i drop it in the freezer for a set amount of time to achieve carbonation? lee

    thanks ill give it a read, i used a hydrometer, as it was a malt kit it didn't say what OG to expect, i did use brew enhancer sugar instead of normal sugar as they recommended.

    hi all i have brewed my first batch of coopers Canadian blonde, SG was 1030 looks like FG is 1020 this is what 1-2 %abv, is this right? seems very low Alcohol for me. if it is can i get it going again to up it? any advise appreciated. thanks Lee.

    hi guys, i have taken the plunge and i am currently brewing my first beer "kit" a Coopers Canadian Blonde Beer Kit it makes 40 pints, now i have a barrel with tap and safety cap, ideally i would like to put the brew in here to serve once fermented, do i need to buy a co2 injector for it? or...

    that looks great mate, just what mine looks like after standing, i didn't decant mine as i found even tipping the bottle up to pour a shot disturbs the sediment so i usually drank some with the wine...and im still here!!

    My Balls (:p) are 10grams each, i use 3 in about 3-4 cups of dry rice, i split this rice into 2 containers (each one has 3 balls in) and i get about 1.5 liters of good wine, made two batches now and both have worked out just fine.

    well day 26 and i have just harvested my second batch, 1.5 liters of 20% alcohol for a few pounds(£..lol) is well worth it.

    in a 1.5 liter jar i use 3 cups of dry rice and 2 crushed yeast ball, hope this helps ill let you do the conversion!!

    I think that has been asked and it didn't work, got to be the sticky rice variety.
