    Crazy Idea....Digital Display Tap Handles

As long as we are debating options. While large, the iphone 4 or above can be bought for next to nothing. I have 2 myself. If a suitable design could be configured to embed the phone. easy changes via Bluetooth are possible. I use my old ones to stream Pandora to my secondary audio systems, like...

    STC-1000 replacing refrigerator thermostat

System works, fridge does not know what is trying to occur. Unit is told to keep running. The external control turns power on and off as needed with controls to keep unit from cycling too soon. Have one running this way for nearly a year now without incident. External control probe is under a...

Concord pots - flat lid vs domed?

I have domed lid. Everything falls off of it. I would not hang it on the pot anyway because of the high temp from burners up the kettle side. Next pot will have flat lid to set things on during storage. Very good kettles for the price. Can't wait to replace my keggle with the pot.

    List of PJ Electrical Diagrams

Thanks, so the circuit breakers, being after the 50amp GFCI ARe protecting the system forward. Makes sense now. I guess those that did not have them were on 30amp GFCI. Thanks again.

    List of PJ Electrical Diagrams

Is their a determining factor that makes use of circuit breaker setup necessary, as some drawings include them and others just utilize the existing contactors and switches to provide control. In process of a 2-5500 watt and 2000 rims. Thanks in advance.

Might give up on homebrew :(

Yooper has the answer. Don't give up just change how you do things. Beer kits with DME work great. I am all grain Brewer and still use kits for quick turnaround. Keep working your process you will get great beer.

    Repairing a mediocre brew

The dry hopped Citra keg came around at 14 days. While I would not brew it again , it became quite tasty. I will dry hop the other 2 kegs with 2 oz Citra each. I was surprised that the orange peel made little or no improvement to the keg. Thanks for everyone's input!

    Repairing a mediocre brew

I find myself with a decision of, keep or discard a recent brew that I made several mistakes on. This was a leftover grain concoction of 28# of Pilsen, 2 row, C10, Munich, wheat, Carafoam. The Wort was in good balance and I made the unfortunate decision to cut the wort with water to reduce...

    Carbing seltzer

No I don't think so. Once the keg is carbed, there should not be a big continuous usage. I would check for leaks. You also just may have been at that point where the pressures started to drop.

    Carbing seltzer

I run mine at 25 to 30 with 10' line and a picnic tap. Works we'll, we drink a bunch of it and certainly hits the spot with my VO :)

    Cheap compact wort pump

Ajw85 Water proof connectors are unnecessary. I use connectors from my Drone builds, DC very small male, female sets, 10 packs only couple bucks a bag from China.

    Source for tap handles

I got a really good deal on a wood lathe and turned a few for myself. Nothing fancy yet but different and unique. Have something in mind? I would entertain making you something for free as long as you wouldn't require high dollar materials.

Big Mouth Bubbler- Solution to the bad lid seal problem

I have 5 of the plastic BMB original lid units. I like them immensely. Dislike having to crank them down like a gorilla. I am interested in the rectangular Speidel units. While they are more expensive they seem much better in quality. The question here is that there seems to be no discussion...
