I don't know how you would filter carbonated beer. All the filters I have seen says that it filters un-carbonated beer.

how much water do you start with? do you start with the full volume or do you top up after?

Just saw an add for a home soda maker that takes water and flavors it and carbonates it in seconds. I says that you can just make seltzer water also so I was thinking that you could use it to instant carb some bottles of beer...

So I tasted this the other day. It is nothing like what I was hoping for. There is no mint taste at all. It has some lime flavor and a lot of pith taste (i think). I was hoping for some sweetness and there is none. I'm going to through some stuff in it and see if I can make it better.

Krud, this is just some thing I came up with based off of JAOM. I have not tasted it yet but if it doesn't have the mojito taste that I'm looking for I might make it again using some lime-aide.

Fathand, Yes I know that Tony M. guy. He just told me over the summer that you brew. How long have you been brewing? Do you belong to any clubs? I made JAOM last year and I tasted it every once in awhile and it was the best after a year and I got an HM in the mich beer cup.

Another update. I have left both the JAOM and Mojito mead alone and now the Mojito mead is starting to clear. I am having a hard time waiting on these meads. I will be bottling soon.
