Show us your Top Tier configuration

I need to post my pictures. I had no idea this thread existed. I have a three burner set up which I bought over the summer. I just ordered the Tower of Power which should be here on Friday. I will take pictures of the whole rig and post them.

Mashing in a 15 Gal Boilermaker: How Do You Achieve Uniform Exact Temp??

I use a direct fire system but I recirculate while I am mashing which helps

New Brewing Pot... Spike Brewing vs Polarware vs ?

If you are going to make it into a tun you may want to consider 15 gallon. I do five gallon batches and have a 10 gallon Blichmann but wished I went with the 15 gallon. I can only do about 24lbs of grain. Would like the flexibility to do more.

    Tower of Power

I know this has been talked about in the past but I wanted updated feedback of people who have been using this system. I have the Top Tier three burner setup and I am now ready to make the next step by purchasing one or more of these units. I was hoping to get what people think. Thanks

Tell me about your brew rig

I bought the top tier. Three burners love it. Hs made brewing even more fun.

    Hops poisonous to pets?

This is true. If dogs consume to many it raises their core temperature. If not lowered it can cause them to over heat and die.

Why are Stone beers so expensive?

Why because someone has the disposable income to buy beer you deem not worth it a snob? Forcing your ideals on someone and putting them down for not enjoying the same beer you do is a snob. I don't think "Stone" is one of the hot breweries. I think they have a large foot print so a lot of people...

    Blichmann All-Grain

I am going to chime in here. If you have the cash the Top tier system is great. I have a three burner set up. I direct fire my mash and have never enjoyed the process more. I have a ton of control and love it. There will be a ton of people who tell you to save your cash. IMO it is the best money...

Grain Mill... Cereal Killer or Barley Crusher MaltMill?

I just got my Cereal Killer this week and I struggled with the same thing. I have not used it yet but there was another thread that talked about it at length and the general thought that the Cereal Killer was a very good value and work very well. Is it better then the Barley Crusher (or just as...

    1st All Grain CO3C

I think you will be good. Those mash temps are no issue at all. As far a you OG being 1.060 not sure with your grain bill you could have achieved it so high. You are closer to your target then you think. You would be pushing a 6% beer with that gravity

    My first AG batch results/questions

Don't mind at all 1) I feel the color is a bit dark for a pale ale. Would you agree? 60L may be a bit dark. I use between 60L-75L for my Brown Ale's depending on how dark you want it back it down to 40L or even 20L. I threw your recipe in Beersmith and you should be right in range. Beersmith...
