I brewed this a few months back. Mashed at 154 and I used wlp007. It did dry out a little, but it was fabulous. This brew was a huge crowd pleaser.

Fresh ground it right before I dumped it in. Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking of doubling it next time I brew it, but I don't think I'll go quite that much.

I brewed this exactly to the original recipe and I get no pepper at all. It is still a fabulous brew and I got many rave reviews, but I was personally hoping for that pepper to work with the Sorachi Ace. Thanks for the great recipe!

Brewed this up this morning. My efficiency came in at 69% which is really off for me. I'm consistently between 75-80%. I noticed several other posters coming in low as well. Maybe it has something to do with the milling of the wheat at the same gap as the barley? This wort smelled incredible...

Brewed this up 11 days ago. I went with 4 ounces of northern brewer and moved them around a little bit as you can see. I also switched to wlp007 and it dried out quite a bit. Gravity sample today was smooth and very tasty. I think I'm going to throw this in a keg tonight with a half ounce of NB...

I finally got around to buying some BKF. I soaked and scrubbed it with a scotchbrite pad and it came out like new. Apparently it was just residue that looked just like rust.

Very excited to brew this one on Friday. Going to get the yeast started tonight. Thanks for the recipe.
