Strategy for swapping hoses and handling drips etc. ???

I basically just have towels all over the place when I brew to catch drips and spills.

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

From Weldworks - "As for total hop loads, one of our most popular beers, Extra Extra Juicy Bits, is dry hopped at nearly 10 lbs./bbl (5 oz. per gallon/37 grams per L) " !!

Anyone want to organize a freight forwarder? 😁 Man, I'm gonna need an online regulator before I can get them from William's.

I expected to use the wood, but the gas is so easy that I havent tried it once. Takes about a half hour to heat up. It's really fantastic.

    Doutight regulators

I've been trying to find these and just emailed Kegland to see when they might become available here. I got a Kegland Series 4 kegerator with 3 taps around christmas and need to split my gas line. Previously I had a dual regulator on the tank but with this setup I need inline regulators...

I went from a cooler and turkey fryer to a grainfather and the simplicity is wonderful.

    Basement Bar and Brewery

The brewery is next. I haven't brewed since we moved in last fall. Just threw all my stuff in here. The plan is to tear out all the cabinets and replace with a stainless table, utility sink, and two mini fridges stacked for fermentation. I'm thinking of using ikea kitchen wall hangers to...

    Basement Bar and Brewery

I should put in a plug for barplan.com. I paid $25 for access to all their plans, including both of these units. I did modify them, but I never could not have done this without those plans. I've never built anything before. This was my first real woodworking project.

    Basement Bar and Brewery

Yeah. I was looking at some nice slabs but with the chicago arm rails covering the edges, and requiring 3/4 inch top, it didnt make a lot of sense. I also considered edge gluing a couple oak boards but that wasnt something I wanted to do myself. The lumber place said they'd do the long peice...

I went with an epoxy finish for the bar top, and I think I'm going to do it on the lower work surface also. This is now 97% done. Just need to hang the doors and finish the worktop area.

    The Home Made Pizza Thread

I once tried the parchment paper thing and left it on the whole time. It got stuck to the bottom of the pizza and I had to pick it off in little bits. Afterwards, someone told me to hold the paper when launching so the pizza slides off and into the oven. But I found that as long as I dusted...

I wouldn't use a gas grill. I doubt its any better than your oven. All the heat comes from below. Whether its worth getting an Ooni depends on what you want to make. Neapolitan requires something like 900* to get right. You're not going to get that in a home oven or on a gas grill. I...

    Love Golf?

And now all nonessential businesses must close at 5pm. I assume that will kill our golf courses. Luckily I'm less than an hour from courses in other states.

    Love Golf?

Got one in yesterday. Beautiful day. 8 player net stableford. I was in the lead through 13, but a series of unfortunate events (lost balls) derailed me. Finished 3rd--just out of the money. Every day out there feels like it could be the last. My course just announced they're only...
