Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

Awesome, I'll test both (4.7k and 10k) once I get my prototype built! I wanted a board where I could have everything AIO (Wemos, Relays and Temp Sensor). Maybe not the One Board™ but it will be close to it....after many revisions....lol

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

I'm trying to create a board that will work for either BrewPiLess or BrewPi and I'm trying to standardize the temp sensor, since on each project it's wired differently. I just want to make sure that if I run it the way BrewPiLess does with the 4.7k ohm resistor that it will work on BrewPi. Thanks.

Native ESP8266 BrewPi Firmware - WiFi BrewPi, no Arduino needed!

On the BrewPiLess they're using a 4.7k ohm resistor between DATA (D6) and VCC (3V3), on the BrewPI it's using a 10k ohm resistor on the single wire temp sensor. Can I wire the BrewPi to work like the BrewPiLess and does it work best with 3V3 or 5V? Thanks.

    YABC-Yet a Brew Controller: BrewManiacEx

Is this the correct part for the voltage regulator? https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/stmicroelectronics/L7805CDT-TR/497-7255-1-ND/1884014

    YABC-Yet a Brew Controller: BrewManiacEx

My boards turned out nice and the d1 mini sits nicely. If RollE2k is ok with it I might be interested in building people boards if they want a fully populated one.

Where can I find a Brewie for $300?? I'd love to have the hardware and be able to modify it and get it working with an arduino or something else.

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

The Terragady boards connects to the pi with the 40 pin GPIO, it also powers the pi through PIN 2 on the GPIO via your 12v connection to the Terragady board. The board comes with an adjustable MP1584EN 3A buck which we set to 5v. This allows you to use the full 12v for pumps and turning on / off...

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

@teamrushpntball - everything looks good, I would also recommend buying additional SD cards, @clearwaterbrewer - The expansion board delivers a guaranteed solution and piece of mind, especially when dealing with high voltage. How is mounting a hassle when the Pi has four mounting points which...

I don't understand your BC337 or BC547 implementation on the pcb board. I can't seem to find any that come in a triangle shape...Do I just bend the middle pin? Thanks

Coconut Milk DIPA - I have clues, but need help

I don't think I'd want all that coconut in the keg, I had a fun enough time when I transferred it from my carboy to keg with my auto-siphon. I did freeze the coconut after it came out of the oven to prevent any sort of contamination before adding it with the dry hop.

Coconut Milk DIPA - I have clues, but need help

I won a trophy with this beer at a local brew off! I did change up the schedule and the amount of hops used as I had to get it bottled and ready for the competition.

    PicoPaks - REUSABLE?

Hmm I should really buy one.... I bet I could reverse engineer the machine in minutes, they're probably just using an api call to send the data to the machine which figuring out the api call would be super easy with wireshark and ssl strip, if they're even using https and a simple dns redirect...

    CraftBeerPi - Raspberry Pi Software

You can't reduce, check the voltage going from your pins on the pi's gpio to your ssr, if you're not getting 3v then you know what your problem is.

Coconut Milk DIPA - I have clues, but need help

Yeah I'm worried that the coconut is not being fully submerged and could cause mold / issues. Any issues with this that you have in the past?
