Vin is a voltage something or other :) 5v will work, I just couldn't get them all to work at once. And I used pins 5,6,7,8

And on the first try, too! Well, mostly :) All 4 meters work. I originally tried to use the servo pins for power. It worked on one, but not the other three. Odd. Luckily, I had a bread board. I just plugged in to the vin to the board, and then ran all the power off of that, and success...

Is it possible to hook the power lines for the meters up to any 5v pin, or do they have to go to the VIN? I added extra pins in the servo spots so I have a ton of 5v and ground pins now. Just wondering if I can use them or if I need to run all the power through VIN. Thanks!

Hmm. My post disappeared or I forget to hit submit :) Can one of you that have it set up post a picture of how you have multiple meters plugged in to your alamode, please? Thanks! Just seeing if I need to modify the plugs.

Try F4 or alt F4. One of those close chromium if I remember right. I had the same problem when I first set it up. Drive me crazy!

I got my alamode today. In looking at the pictures you posted, I have the 4 black headers for the top and bottom right of the picture. I noticed you also had a bunch in the middle, I think in the Servo holes? Are those needed for this? And if so, any idea where to buy those? On the plus...

I ordered my alamode on the 15th. I'm hoping it will be here shortly. I should have everything else by the weekend. I've had V1 since the beginning, and was able to get it set up pretty easily with the instructions. Software isn't my problem. The one thing I've never done before is...

If you go back around post 996, you'll find some discussion about this. I have my fonts green and gold. This is an older picture while I was playing around with them. It's pretty easy to do.

So with the post on facebook about V2 nearing completion, is there a parts list anyone would care to share? I'd like to have as much of it on hand for the big reveal as possible :) Flow meters are the big thing for me.

Perhaps what we need is some cheer leading to help motivate the team for their outstanding work and help them get the final push to V2 :) Obviously this is the hottest thread on HBT and the one most eagerly followed.

I had the same problem at first. I think it was my power supply. Anyway, it worked, but not reliably for about a week. Then, just like that, it started working flawlessly and has ever since. Other than changing to a different power supply, I can't tell you why it started working.

AMEN to that! I make regular backups of mine and I'm also contemplating getting a second Pi. Nice setup, by the way. RPi makes everything look classier :)

Hmmmm. I did mine remotely and it worked fine once I got rid of the return.
