Just picked up the supplies for this one today! I have another beer to brew first (extract rye IPA tomorrow) but its next in line! I'll be following the scaled down recipe for the 5.5gal batch, and doing my second BIAB. Cheers!

The snow closed some of the LHBS around here so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to pick up my yeast and make the starter. Should be brewing on Friday!

Sounds like you are getting it all dialed in! What did you brew btw?

Looks good and it looks like you've been allowed back in the kitchen! That should make brewing in the Canadian winters a little more pleasant I assume. Thanks for all the breakdown on parts, wiring diagrams. I'm debating an eBIAB or a multi-vessel system. Cheers!

HB Sweetwater IPA Clone

I wasnt too familiar with that burner so I did a little looking online. According to amazon it operates at 185k btu. Another popular option (but one that is often listed as "overkill") is the KAB4. It operates at 210k btu, but has been noted to run through propane rather fast. It looks like it...

Ha! Me neither. Every now and then I'll go a little less than 5gal if it's something more "experimental" or something I'm not sure I'll like as much, but even that's hard and it's never less than around 3.5gal

Part of the brewing process is tasting and drinking the beer, and the satisfaction that gives me. With that being said I'd say I enjoy the brewing process as much, if not more than the drinking. I really like giving it away and seeing other people enjoy my beer too!

I agree, the "contract" was between the customer and Auber (not FedEX). Auber states on their website that they use FedEx for the shipping, and does not offer the customer any additional choices. Since no other choices are offered I believe that Auber is still responsible for the delivery (or...
