I did a ten gallon batch then fermented five gallons with PacMan and five gallons with an American Ale variety. The PacMan was better. Both were petillant.
Usually 150F max. I recommend that you review the Tyco/Thermal controls website.

They have some pretty serious temperature equipment.
I just use the cooler. Get the water to temp, add vacuum sealed "product" and maybe a little extra hot water. Put on the lid and step away.
