I just ordered my heating element and the RTD. I am looking at switches for my rig. I am looking at these, but I am not sure if I need the 1 NO 1 NC version or the 2 NC version. With everything else running, will the LEDs use up too much power on a 120v system...

Alright so 25A SSR and a Heat Sink seems to work for Joey and some others on a typical 120v 15 amp circuit. I'll do that then. I'll research the switches on Auberins and on Amazon.

Anyone have any decently priced switches and extension cord recommendations? I decided to get a 40A SSR. Auberins suggests I should get a heat sink, so I guess I will do that.

Maybe you can pick it up for me? :p I'm not sure I didn't ask. Figured it was coming from Canada.

Still haven't received my RIMS tube. I called Glacier and looks like it's stuck in customs. Luckily, I am in no rush to complete this project.

That makes sense. I put the order in for the RIMS Tube and the fittings. The other stuff will have to wait until next paycheck.

Man this project is going to be expensive. $153 for the RIMS tube and fittings after shipping. I still need to buy quick disconnects for it too! :/

That's exactly what I wanted to operate my RIMS at. I will get a 40A SSR and get the heatsink just in case. Should I add that 15A breaker to my parts list too? I want to be as safe as possible since I have no prior electrical experience. Thanks.

That means I would need to purchase an additional SSR and Heatsink just for the pump? I wouldn't be able to have them on the same circuit?

My friend's dad said just plain water. We cleaned it out a few times with brewery wash and sanitizer just to make sure. I am guessing someone dropped the pump, breaking the pump head. We unscrew the dip tube to clean it after every brew. Someone must have gotten a hold of it and misplaced it...
