Cool thanks for all the input. As you suggested I will start with book. I have done a few all grain kits and they have come out great. Maybe it's the military math I'm using if a little is good then a whole lot must be better

Update for anyone who cares. Everything seemed to have turned out right except the beer is extremely bitter. I even tried mixing 50 50 with another Beer and still it was way too bitter. The hops I used said low alpha acids in the 5s Gemini and cashmere but I guess I used way too much in my boil...

No the motorized one is what I bought used and it has always had issues with everything. It is not geared. So I am going to try and switch them out.

I did clean it when I first bought it the used one with the motor. The one with motor doesn't have gears. So I am thinking about switching it with the other one which has gears.

So I have 2 grain mills and they both suck you know what. I have a malt master 3 roller and I have another 3 roller no brand name with a giant motor on it which I bought from another brewer. I can't get them to grind properly the one with motor either blows through with out grinding anything or...

I did have to crank down on my mill to get this to go through and it still didn't do great job on the barley I will do better on picture on my next run if this taste anything like a beer, I sampled it and it was pretty bitter.
