What happened to your old fermentation bucket?

Why would you say advance to carboy? IMO a carboy is by no means an advancement to a bucket. I prefer my bucket to my carboys. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

Caught a high primary temp and lowered it, am I ok?

Two things may happen. You might get esters, a banana flavor to the beer. You might get a rocket fuel alcohol. Sometimes you can age out the rocket fuel a bit. With that said I wouldn't overly worry about it. Finish it out and see what happens. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

    Fruity Beer

Is it citrus or banana? Esters in my experience have a banana flavor. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

I don't ever use starter. I always just pitch my yeast into fermenter. (Dry or wet yeast)

    No fermentation. need help

I wouldn't sweat it until 48 hours. If nothing at that point then get new yeast and pitch again. Sent from my iPad using Home Brew

Small amount of sanitizer in bottle.

It will be fine. A little, an ounce or two, in a gallon wont even be noticeable. Sanitizers are food surface safe. You would need to ingest quite a bit of it to make one sick.

    Mead tastes horrible! 1 month

It tastes horrible because it hasn't aged. You need to wait at least 6 months before you even think about trying it. Many people I know won't even think about their mead until it's aged a year. Sent from my iPad using Home Brew
