How long does the chill take? Mine is maybe 10 minutes tops from steep to yeast. Using a sink for an ice bath for the wort pot, then pour the wort over chilled water, and then put the bucket into the ice bath. Don't know what the start temp was but it must have been over 130 degrees. Down to 75...

I think I threw too much detail into my question. The kit contains: (2) Briess 3.3 lb cans LME (no DME) Pack of Perle hops Pack of Cooper dry yeast. The instructions say to boil 1.5 gals of water, remove from heat, stir in all of the LME and hops, then boil for 30 minutes. Edit: I did find...
