    Re using a yeast cake

    the yeast should wake up after coming back to room temp. yeast can be reused over and over. Guinness claims to use the original yeast they started with!

    just polished one off too. ingredients on bottle are cider, natural flavor, malic acid, etc. they probably ferment and add apple extract for flavor. still sweet for a "dry" cider, probably 1.015 or higher

    using concentrated apple juice for carbing?

    I add 1/2 a can per 1 gallon. It doesn't come out very sweet but the bottles will over carb if not pasteurized
