yeah i can see that now. I think i will just go with an AC unit and the coil... i had no idea there was one available til now...

I have th 14 gal blichman and just found out they had a coil for it... can you tell me alittle about how you did this?

Hmmm will have to either try this or the AC unit to chill the Blichmann cooling coil i plan to use with it... some silly Q... what about the glycol? and how much does it take appx? thank you!

I did get to try Mead which I never have before... it was quite good, i can see making up a batch of that for sure...

Just got back from a trip there, didnt go there just for breweries but it was part of the reason. Anniversary trip. WOW... i knew they had a LOT of breweries up there..but holy hell!! they are everywhere!! competition must be intense for business... I only had time to go to a few breweries...

these pumps are magnetic drives... so it wont hurt it in the least to slow or stop the flow... i run mine for over an hour at maybe 15% when recirculating... just make sure to throttle the outlet not the inlet side.

I pretty much have the same issues. I sealed everything as best I could, put couple different water removers in there, couple different fans etc... still happens, I just take a spatula and scrape it out about every 6 weeks or so...

It would work better if you could pump the hot water through the PC from your pot, then use the heated water, but it will cool off 3 gal pretty quick, but it WILL come out pretty dang hot.
