Thanks, just do a visual inspection I guess as the opening is small and i wouldn't be able to feel in there. So just bottle using the auto syphon and beer wand from the carboy?
I've searched the site some but haven't found how to do this. My first batch is getting close to bottling, and I have a couple questions. My father inlaw just gave me an old plastic carboy he used to use for his wine and home brew. It doesn't have a spigot/bottling valve on it, and neither does...
I'm new to this, so new in fact, I haven't bottled yet. Just two weeks into my first batch. Don't take this as gospel, but as long as your bottles were cleaned and sanitized you should be good to go. Good luck.
Yeah thanks, it was bubbling to good last night, this morning there is beer in my airlock and bubbling over onto top of fermenter. Im guessing this is ok. I pulled of the airlock, cleaned and sanitized it put it back on. Hope that's ok.
Hey HappyHaxor, im new on here and am only an hour west of you. I was in Fredericton tuesday and took the plunge and bought everything I needed to start my brew from the Scoop'N'Save
