Keg won't stop foaming at appropriate psi

It probably wouldn't, but if its in a keg, it really only takes a few minutes to do. You have nothing to lose...

Damnit man, try the degassing thing I posted already! You'd be done by now!

Keg won't stop foaming at appropriate psi

Try what I posted first... Before buying longer lines. It takes about 10 minutes or so.

Keg won't stop foaming at appropriate psi

Perhaps the beer is over carbonated? If so, the fix is easy. 1. Unhook your bev and gas lines 2. Pull the release valve and let the air out 3. Set your psi to about 12psi on the regulator 4. Hook the gas line in to the beverage out post and fill it up with co2. You'll hear it bubbling. When...

    sediment free beer. help!

It's a necessary evil if you're bottle conditioning. The yeast in the flat beer in the bottling bucket eats the priming sugar and craps put co2. After its done, the yeast flocs and sinks to the bottom. That's your sediment, not sludge from your fermenter.

What should I buy for my husband?

I'm going with a case of Coors, to remind him that even if he screws up a batch, it's still better than that crap. That or a sex swing...

What is Everyone Drinking this Thanksgiving??

But it still beat out the Coors light and Bud light, right? :rockin: Me, Green Flash West Coast IPA, and DFH 90 minute ipa. Probably follow it up with Firestone Walker Double Jack. I'm drowning my sorrows in bitterness, since I'm in CA for business over the holiday, and way from my family.

    Wholesalehops.com has Amarillo and Simcoe

Just ordered 2 lbs of Simcoe last night, I just checked and they still have both Amarillo and Simcoe. I had ordered some Amarillo from them last week, shortly after they were out, now they're back in. $7 flat shipping, too.

What came in the mail for you today?

2 lbs. of Belma and Centennial from hopsdirect, and 1 lb amarillo. Too bad I have to travel for the next couple weeks, or I'd be brewing up a storm.

    Newbie's Recipes Quest

If you only have 5 gallon buckets, I'd strongly suggest you rig up a blow off hose, or else risk blowing the top off your bucket!

    What are you drinking now?

Actually, the aftertaste is much like a summer shandy.

    What are you drinking now?

Schell's Citra Pils. I'm a big fan of citra, but not a big fan of pilsners, but had to at least try it. My impression: what a waste of citra. It's not a bad beer, and actually a great pilsner, if you're into that sort of thing...

    Galaxy hops

Not at all. I was expecting it to be more bitter, but it really wasn't. It was a smooth kind of bitter, probably due to the fwh vs. a 60 min. Addition. While it says 86 IBUs, it taste more like 50. I've got another 5 gallon batch of it that I just dry hopped last night. My first recipe and so...

3 FLoyds Zombie Dust attempt. Help/info requested

It'll clear, given time in bottles or a keg. You could cold crash it for a couple days of you'd like. Most dry hopped beers I've made we're cloudy at first too.
