    Mills

I have a barley crusher. It worked for a few months and has since quit. Regardless of the setting my drive roller just spins and doesn't crush. The only way I can get mine to work is if I put a large o-ring on one of the rollers so they both turn. That works ok, but it's pretty inconvenient...

    Dried bleach in carboy

I've gotten a residue before if I leave bleach solutions in for too long (many days). I'm not sure what the reaidue is, personally I've always chalked it up to something to do with hard water, but I've found that hot water and citric acid usually dissolve it. Sometimes a little light scrubbing...

    Need a new fermentor

I used to use 30L sanke kegs for fermenters when I did 5 gallon batches. They worked well and though you can't stick your arm in one they aren't any tougher to clean than a carboy.

    Wood for bar build

Looking at that picture, how about alder? The boards tend to be narrow but the price is usually pretty good. As far as jointing, I'd shiplap it. Then, stain and spar urethane. Should be pretty moisture resistant. That's the method I used on my wood brew stand and it's holding up well.

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

Ah, nevermind there it is at the bottom. Guess it pays to scroll to page two. I think I'll print it out, might be easier to trace it out than trying to sort it out on the phone.

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

Still not used to the new software and I keep getting my posts messed up. Any plans on putting up schematics for some of the more complicated (for me) parts like proportional valves? Or is that stuff pretty specific to the valve? I'm almost ready to start mapping out my build and I'll be...

GREAT DEALS and GIVEAWAYS FROM HomebrewSupply.com

I had to work in the morning, but I'll have a few of my IPA's with my roast. Yeah I know wrong meat, my son's turkeys weren't big enough. They are set for Christmas though...

Took a chance on cheap CO2 tank....

I pulled the trigger on one. That's just too good of a price for one with free shipping.

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

Can the scripts reference system time at all? Such as to allow for a delay start feature.

    Sewage in kettle

Exactly. And the power of suggestion is incredible. People will swear it tastes off even if it doesn't. I had a regular wheat on tap once and told some friends who tried it that I put jalepeno in it. It was crazy how many people insisted they could taste it.

you still use hops in your beer?

From one of my favorite threads, here are the drums you would want to use. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showpost.php?p=3349919&postcount=27

    New BruControl Build

Sub'd. I'm in the early part of phase one of building a new rig with Brucontrol. Physical layout is way different but I'm interested in how yours comes together. Good luck. Keep the updates coming.

I had never heard of the show before. Thanks for the last hour I've spent watching clips.
